Hi! We’re Gerald + Amy — a huband-wife team + the faces behind Tallow Care Collective.

In early 2019, we welcomed our first two beef calves and have since grown to a small herd of 23. In recent years, Gerald was keen on rendering the suet from our cows to make our own tallow. The process seemed daunting to me [Amy], but we agreed to tackle the process together. To my surprise, I loved the rendering process + seeing the transformation happen from raw suet to finished tallow! After more research + listening to podcasts, I started dreaming of making my own natural skincare products. I began experimenting with recipes + we began replacing our store-bought moisturizers with our whipped tallow creams. It was in that process that Tallow Care Collective originated. 

Years ago, I would’ve never dreamed that we’d be here — but here we are + we’re so grateful for all your love + support!
